Role Description The Medical Officer will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, overseeing the clinical aspects of occupational health programs and services. Responsibilities include conducting medical assessments, managing employee health records, and providing direct patient care for work-related and general health concerns. The role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support health surveillance, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and return-to-work decisions. The Medical Officer will contribute to clinical protocols, train staff on health and safety practices, and provide medical input for compliance-related reporting. This position also supports the integration of medical workflows with Hasanui HealthTech’s software solutions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant health data management.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine with relevant clinical experience in occupational health or primary care.
- Demonstrated expertise in Patient Care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of common workplace and general health conditions.
- Experience in Surgery or minor procedures as applicable to occupational health settings.
- Ability to work effectively with Physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Experience in Training healthcare staff or employees on health, safety, and wellness protocols.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS CIH or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.
- Knowledge of occupational health standards, workplace safety regulations, and medical documentation practices.
- Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort with using digital health systems and electronic medical records; interest in health technology is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced organizational environment.
